Trainings and workshops

We design and deliver training solutions for the private sector, governments and civil society organisations on employment, mobility and skills.

Our services include capacity building programmes, functional adaptations, and the review of standard operating procedures for effective service delivery processes.

Our trainings are tailor-made to clients’ needs and are aligned to the legal, institutional and market contexts.

We design and deliver trainings, workshops and staff development programmes for national authorities and government agencies. We support government authorities and their implementation agencies in aligning staff competencies to new policies, strategies, primary and secondary legislation and internal procedures.



We deliver joint participatory trainings that bring together different government agencies on issues related to employment and mobility. Our trainings ensure an efficient work organisation among entities dealing with labour and mobility issues (PES, social security institutes, border management and police authorities).



We design and deliver interactive training workshops for individual businesses, employer organisations and business clusters on skills needs assessments, skills testing and recognition and transnational recruitment.

Enabling Employment Opportunities for Asylum-seekers in Albania Siloe supported the Governments of Albania, Serbia, North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in promoting the labour market integration of refugees and asylum seekers through a targeted reform of the workflows of the Public Employment Services. Technical guidance to the Albanian Ministry of Finance and Economy supported selection of a suitable archetype for the forthcoming national Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) system

Establishing a consensus with relevant ministries on the scope of the reform process. Technical recommendations enabling ANAPEC to improve instutional capacity, coverage and service delivery to better meet needs of businesses and jobseekers.

Labour Market Intelligence for Nepal Labour Market Intelligence for Nepal. The work aimed at appraising potentials of different countries of destination to maximise wages, working conditions, remittances and integration prospects for low skilled and medium skilled perspective Nepali emigrants. Potential countries of destinations were screened looking at skills shortages, immigration systems and possibilities to lobby for regular recruitment of large number of pre-trained Nepali.

Development of project document and backstopping for SDC on effective modalities of partnership with the Government of Bangladesh.

Provide practical guidance to government authorities, International Organizations and NGOs on the design, implementation and monitoring of reintegration assistance. Development of handbook components on economic and structural interventions, including chapters on labour market assessments, targeting skills interventions to sectoral needs and developing skills-sensitive regular migration corridors

Promoting Inclusive Labour Market Solutions in the Western Balkans Promoting Inclusive Labour Market Solutions in the Western Balkans.
▪ Coordinated national assessments of legislation, policies and practices on migration and refugee management.
▪ Created national info-kits for refugees and asylum seekers (RAS) rights and obligations of RAS in the different Western Balkan countries
▪ Prepared guidelines for PES caseworkers to make workflow of PES sensitive to foreign residents.
▪ Acted as resource person in a policy dialogue to Scoped PES role on labour and non-labour market integration of refugees (in each of the six countries)

▪ Supported the Government in the design and implementation of a Labour Market and Migration Information System (LMMIS).
▪ Designed a data collection and mapping system for the re-integration of return migrants.
▪ Designed a system of matching for skilled returnees based on Skills Needs Assessments at local and sectoral level.
▪ Acted as a resource person in two training programmes for ONEF (Malian National Employment and Training Observatory) managers and key officers to put in place the new LMMIS.

▪ Prepared a manual on Employment Policy for Fragile States (tailor made to Afghanistan and being adapted for other Fragile States)
