Georg Bolits has 5 years of experience in providing policy advice and technical expertise to governments and international organisations on skills, labour and mobility policies, as well as technology consulting in various sectors.
He conducted diagnostic assessments of institutions for the labour market, including mandates, institutional provisions and standard operating procedures. Georg is experienced in designing and implementing multi-method research campaigns supporting formulation of national and regional labour migration policies, most recently in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and South Sudan.
Before working as an international consultant on labour and mobility issues, Georg worked as a technology consultant for VVA Brussels in Belgium, where he managed market analyses and feasibility studies in the domains of disruptive technologies, telecommunications and multimodal transport for the European Commission as well as various EU agencies and industry associations.
He holds two distinctions in postgraduate degrees from UCL London and from Corvinus University Budapest in economics and political science.
